History
Its
granitic construction date back to the end of the 19th century. It had been used as a private wine cellar.
For the decoration, it was used some winemaking and agricultural utensils.
In the old small press (now a beautiful room), where this farm’s wine was made, the famous nectar
delighted the Conde da Covilhã, he was its ancient owner.
Visitable
The farm has excellent panoramic sights, in the east is Vila de Belmonte, Pedro Álvares Cabral’s birthplace and in the west the Vale Formoso village.
